Blinds in the glassHaving venetian blinds in the glass are available in a number of colours. They are also known as  internal or integral blind. They are liked by many because they offer more privacy.

Essentially, the blind is mounted between the glass in an double glazed glass unit.

Contrary to what many believe, having blinds inside glass does not change the insulation qualities of the double glazed unit.  In fact it can slightly improve the u-value of the glass unit.  With the blinds being enclosed in the double glazed unit, this protects them from dust, dirt and other environmental influences.  A systems that has blinds in the glass makes maintenance unnecessary.

The use of Blinds in the glass is a sophisticated window system that regulates sun and light coming into a room. It is ideally suited for offices, health care institutions, or houses.  These products can be configured and delivered according to to individual needs.

The blinds are raised, lowered, tilted and turned using a magnetic mechanism located at the side of the unit.  This is completely integrated into the double glass unit. This means that the hermetic sealing of the unit remains intact. The turning magnet is located so that it is connected by means of a flexible cable situated in the hollow space of the window frame.
